The Matador

The Matador has been a fixture on West Burnside since 1971. With it's reputation as "Portland's darkest bar", The Matador has maintained it's seedy underbelly status, in spite of the "rejuvenation" of the surrounding Pearl and Northwest districts. You'll know where your photos came from, for inside the photo booth is a velvet painting of a matador and bull as a backdrop.
